The Saalach border
The river runs along the town's edge and separates Germany from Austria. On the map it becomes a strong, flowing line that frames the street network.

Freilassing Map Poster & Print
Freilassing lies in the far southeast of Bavaria, on the Saalach River, which marks the border with Austria. Salzburg sits directly across the water. On a map, the town looks like a compact grid of residential streets on the German bank, with the river forming a clear western and southern edge.
The town grew as a railway junction, and the tracks are still one of its most visible features. Lines converge near the station and then split towards Munich, Salzburg and the Berchtesgaden area. Around them, the neighbourhoods fill the flat ground in orderly blocks. Meadows and small woods mark the outskirts.
A Freilassing map poster places the town at a meeting point. The Saalach curves along one side, the railway gives the plan its structure and Salzburg's edge appears just beyond the frame. It suits a map printed in clean lines, where the border reads as a river rather than a barrier.

Railway junction
Several rail lines meet in Freilassing. Their long, gently curving tracks cut through the town and give the composition a sense of movement.
Salzburg next door
Across the river, the outskirts of Salzburg begin almost immediately. This shows how closely the two places are tied together in daily life.

අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Freilassing is home to many people who live in Bavaria and work or study in Salzburg, and the map captures that cross-border life. It is also a thoughtful gift for anyone who has passed through its station on the way into the Alps.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, with a family name or the year you moved there for example. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Each one gives the river border a different character.
