Glassboro Map Poster & Print
Glassboro sits in Gloucester County in southern New Jersey, southeast of Philadelphia. From above, the map is dominated by the campus of Rowan University, whose buildings, lawns and athletic fields fill a large area near the centre. Around it, residential streets spread in a mix of grid and curving suburban patterns, fading into woods and fields.
The town takes its name from glassmaking, an industry started here in the late eighteenth century by the Stanger family. In 1967 Glassboro hosted a summit between President Lyndon Johnson and Soviet Premier Alexei Kosygin, held at Hollybush, a mansion on the campus of what was then Glassboro State College.
A Glassboro map poster captures a town where a university shapes the heart of the map. The campus reads as a large, open area of paths and buildings, while the older downtown and the newer housing around it add denser texture. It is a meaningful print for anyone who studied or lived here.

Historic downtown
The older centre has a tighter street network, marking where the town grew around its glassworks before the university expanded.
Surrounding woodland
Wooded areas and farmland typical of South Jersey border the town, giving the edges of the map a quieter, open character.
