Glassmanor Map Poster & Print
Glassmanor is an unincorporated community in Prince George's County, Maryland, directly beside the south-eastern boundary of Washington, D.C. From above, the District line is visible as a straight diagonal edge, and Glassmanor's streets press right up against it, making the border between city and suburb easy to read.
The area is mostly residential, with apartment complexes, curving suburban streets and blocks of houses arranged around a few main roads. Stream valleys and patches of woodland break up the built-up area, and major routes lead south towards Oxon Hill and the Potomac waterfront.
A Glassmanor map poster shows this meeting of the capital's grid and Maryland's looser suburban layout in one frame. It's a precise, personal picture of a neighbourhood that tends to be overlooked on larger maps of the Washington region.

Curving streets
Residential streets and apartment complexes follow looping, suburban layouts, in contrast with the more regular grid just across the line.
Wooded valleys
Stream valleys and strips of woodland cut through the neighbourhood, leaving green gaps that give the map texture and breathing room.

A map of Glassmanor is a way of marking a specific place in a large metropolitan area: a first apartment, a family home, a neighbourhood you know street by street. It's a personal alternative to the usual Washington skyline print.
Customise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with your street or the year you moved. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster, framed if you like.
