Goiás Map Poster & Print
Goiás, often called Cidade de Goiás or Goiás Velho, lies in the interior of central Brazil, in the state that shares its name. The town grew along the Rio Vermelho in a narrow valley. On a map the historic centre follows the water, with irregular colonial streets climbing gently up both banks between low hills.
The town was founded during the eighteenth-century gold rush and served as the state capital until Goiânia replaced it in the 1930s. Its historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town is also closely linked to the poet Cora Coralina, whose house by the river is now a museum.
A Goiás map poster shows a colonial town that grew around a river, not a plan: streets bending with the valley, small squares opening where roads meet, and the ridges of the Serra Dourada rising nearby. The result is intricate yet compact, and it reads quietly on the wall.

Colonial centre
Irregular stone-paved streets and small squares mark the UNESCO-listed core, a fine, uneven texture that contrasts with the newer districts outside it.
Serra Dourada
The ridges of the range rise near the town, leaving open, unbuilt ground that frames the valley and gives the composition a sense of setting.

අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Goiás draws people who love Brazilian literature, colonial architecture or simply a slower pace, and many who grew up there keep it close long after moving to Goiânia or Brasília. Its river-shaped centre makes a distinctive, graceful map.
Set the title as Goiás Velho or Cidade de Goiás, add a subtitle and choose whether to show coordinates. Paper and Sand suit its colonial character, and Classic black & white, Noir and Blueprint are also available. Prints ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
