Old bazaar core
Narrow lanes and markets fill the centre of the town. They form the densest and most irregular part of the map, around which the newer areas grow.

Hafizabad Map Poster & Print
Hafizabad lies in the Rechna Doab, the flat land between the Chenab and Ravi rivers in Pakistani Punjab. It is the headquarters of a district of the same name. From above, the town is compact. A dense old core of narrow lanes and bazaars has later additions spreading outwards along the roads and railway that pass through it.
The surrounding plain is one of Punjab's most intensively farmed areas, irrigated by a network of canals that date back to the colonial era. On a Hafizabad map poster, the edge of town quickly gives way to a fine pattern of straight channels, field tracks and scattered villages, a geometry that is especially strong in black and white.
The district is well known for its rice, including fine basmati varieties, and the town serves as a market for the farming villages around it. The main roads link it with Gujranwala, Sheikhupura and other Punjab cities, and the railway adds a long straight line across the map.
