Harpālpur Map Poster & Print
Harpālpur lies in Chhatarpur district in the north of Madhya Pradesh, in the Bundelkhand region, close to the border with Uttar Pradesh. It is a railway town on the line through Bundelkhand, and the station has long helped the town serve as a trading point for the surrounding countryside.
From above, the railway is the most striking feature: a straight line crossing the town, with the station yard beside it. The older bazaar area forms a dense tangle of lanes nearby, and newer houses spread along the roads leading out. Around the town, the plain is broken up by fields, small reservoirs and the low, rocky rises typical of Bundelkhand.
A Harpālpur map poster is shaped by that contrast between the ruler-straight railway and the irregular lanes of the town. Roads lead out in several directions, and small bodies of water add soft shapes to the margins. It is a clear, grounded map for anyone connected to the town.

Bazaar lanes
Near the centre, narrow, winding lanes form a tight commercial area, a dense patch that contrasts with the straight railway nearby.
Bundelkhand landscape
Beyond the town, fields, ponds and low rocky ground make up the surrounding landscape, giving the poster quiet, varied margins.
