Dense street mesh
Short blocks and narrow streets fill most of the district, creating a fine, even texture that looks especially striking at the larger print sizes.

Hualmay Map Poster & Print
Hualmay lies in the Huaura province of the Lima region, on the dry coastal plain north of the capital. On the map it is hard to say where it ends and the city of Huacho begins, because the two share one continuous fabric of streets. What stands out is the density: small, regular blocks packed closely together, broken by a handful of wider avenues.
The Pacific is close by to the west, and the land around it follows the pattern of this stretch of Peru. Irrigated fields press right up against the edge of town, and desert takes over beyond the reach of the water. That tension between green farmland and built-up grid gives the district a sharply defined outline.
A Hualmay map poster suits people with family roots in the district or memories of the Huacho area, where daily life moves easily from one district to the next. Printed in plain black and white, the grid becomes almost like woven cloth, a fine mesh of streets that shows how the town has grown outward block by block.

Shared edge with Huacho
There is no clear boundary on the ground. Hualmay's streets run directly into Huacho's, so the poster reads as part of a larger coastal urban area.
Farmland margins
Where the built area stops, field boundaries take over. Their long straight lines show the irrigated farming that surrounds towns along this part of the Peruvian coast.
