The Niger frontage
The river runs along the western side of town as a wide open band, and on the print its sandbars and shifting channels show up as soft breaks in the water.

Idah Map Poster & Print
Idah sits on the eastern bank of the Niger in Kogi State, and from above the river is the clearest thing on the map. It is a wide, pale band with sandbars and braided channels, and the town rises away from it. Streets start near the water and run inland, loosening into lanes and compound blocks as the ground climbs from the shore.
The town is best known as the traditional seat of the Igala Kingdom, whose ruler, the Attah of Igala, has long been based here. That role gives Idah a weight beyond its size. On a map you can read it in the way the older core gathers close to the river, where trade and travel on the Niger shaped the settlement long before modern roads arrived.
An Idah map poster keeps the composition simple. The river takes up one edge as a broad open field, and the street network fills the rest in fine lines that thin out toward the farmland. In black and white, that contrast between open water and dense settlement is what gives the print its structure.

Royal town core
The older part of Idah, linked to the Igala Kingdom and its Attah, sits close to the river. Its lanes are tighter and less regular than the newer roads further inland.
Inland road spread
Moving away from the bank, the streets straighten and spread out, with the grid loosening into scattered blocks that eventually fade into the countryside.

ඇයි Idah
අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
For people with family roots in Igala land, Idah is more than a spot on the Niger. A print of its riverbank and streets makes a quiet reminder of home, whether it hangs in Lagos, Abuja or much further away, and it works well as a gift for someone who grew up here.
You can change the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, so the poster can name a family compound, a year or simply the town itself. It comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, and each one suits a different room.
