Juan Aldama Map Poster & Print
Juan Aldama is a town in the state of Chihuahua, in the arid interior of northern Mexico. From above, it looks like many towns of the region: a compact grid of square blocks with straight streets meeting at right angles, surrounded by open ground where field boundaries and dirt roads make their own geometry.
The land around the town is dry and wide open, so settlement tends to follow water and roads. On a map, the edges of the town are as interesting as the centre. Straight highways run off toward the horizon, and irrigated parcels break the empty plain into rectangles.
A Juan Aldama map poster brings out that clarity. There are no dense tangles of streets here. It is an orderly plan set in a large landscape, and in black and white it has an almost diagrammatic calm. It suits anyone who prefers restrained, graphic maps.

Roads to the horizon
Long, straight roads run out of town across the dry plain and add strong lines that reach to the edges of the frame.
Field geometry
Farm parcels around the town break the open landscape into rectangles, forming a second grid beyond the streets.

For people from Juan Aldama, especially those who now live far away or across the border, a map of the town's streets can be a quiet and personal piece. It is simple, recognisable and easy to hang in almost any room.
Add a title, a subtitle with a family name or a year, and the coordinates. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand fits the desert setting especially well.
