Snezhet valley
The small river winds beside the town, with meadows and scattered trees along its banks. It adds a soft, curving line to the otherwise ordered street plan.

Karachev Map Poster & Print
Karachev lies in Bryansk Oblast in western Russia, east of the regional capital. It is one of the oldest towns in the area, first mentioned in chronicles in 1146. The town sits by the small Snezhet river, and the landscape around it is gently rolling, with fields and patches of forest.
On a map the town is built around a few main streets, with a looser grid of residential blocks and private houses around them. The railway between Bryansk and Oryol passes through, and the main road follows a similar route, giving the town a clear east-west axis. The river valley winds along one side, leaving a softer line of meadow and water.
A Karachev map poster shows a typical small central Russian town: straight streets of wooden and brick houses, a railway line, and a river with its meadows, all in fine black lines. Its long history is hard to see from above, which gives the print a quiet, understated quality.

Bryansk–Oryol railway
The railway runs through Karachev on an east-west line, dividing the town and giving the map a strong horizontal axis.
Low-rise grid
Around the centre, streets of private houses form long rectangular blocks. They create a calm, regular pattern that gradually thins into farmland.
