The long runways of the New Orleans airport cut clean geometric shapes into the map, contrasting with the finer residential street grid around them.

Kenner Map Poster & Print
Kenner lies west of New Orleans on a narrow strip of land between two large bodies of water. To the south, the Mississippi River curves past behind its levee; to the north, the shoreline of Lake Pontchartrain closes the map. Between them, suburban streets run in long parallel rows, crossed by drainage canals and a few broad arterial roads.
The most striking shape on the map is Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, which sits within Kenner's limits. Its runways form large clean rectangles among the residential blocks, a scale shift that is easy to see from above. Interstate 10 passes through as well, carrying traffic toward the city and across the lake region.
A Kenner map poster brings these layers together: river, levee, grid, canals, runways and lakefront. Near the river, the older Rivertown district keeps a smaller street pattern that predates the suburban expansion. For people who know the area, it is a clear portrait of how settlement fits into the low, watery ground of southeastern Louisiana.

Many people pass through Kenner on their way in or out of New Orleans, and many others call it home. This map suits both: a quiet record of a first arrival, a family house or years spent on the south shore of the lake.
Add a title and subtitle of your choosing, such as a street name or a move-in date, and adjust the coordinates. Pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
