Old town core
The centre is a compact knot of narrow lanes and closely packed blocks. It forms the darkest, most detailed part of the poster, with main roads radiating out from it.

Khairāgarh Map Poster & Print
Khairāgarh is a town in Chhattisgarh, in central India, set in a flat agricultural landscape. From above, the old centre is a dense cluster of lanes and small blocks. Roads lead out toward surrounding villages, and the built area soon gives way to fields, ponds and watercourses, a pattern typical of the plains of the Chhattisgarh basin.
The town was once the seat of a princely state, and its royal family is closely tied to its best-known institution: Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, a university devoted to music and the fine arts, founded in 1956. The campus is a cultural point of reference far beyond the town and draws students of classical music, dance and painting from across India.
A Khairāgarh map poster shows a town whose scale is still readable at a glance. The tight weave of the old centre, the larger footprints of palace and campus grounds, and the roads running out into farmland fit easily into one frame. The result is a calm and balanced image of a small place with an unusually strong cultural identity.

University grounds
The music and arts university occupies a larger, more open area. On the map it reads as a calmer space set within the finer grain of the surrounding streets.
Water and fields
Ponds, streams and farmland surround the town. They give the edges of the composition an open, rural feel that frames the concentrated street pattern in the middle.

For musicians, dancers and artists who studied at Khairāgarh, the town is where their training took shape. A map poster is a quiet reminder of those years: the route to class, the practice rooms, the lanes walked between lessons.
You can add your own title and subtitle, perhaps a graduation year, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit a studio, a music room or a home.
