Kingsland Map Poster & Print
Kingsland sits in Camden County, in the far southeast corner of Georgia, just north of the Florida border. On a map it spreads out along its main highways, with Interstate 95 running north to south along the western side of town. Suburban streets and cul-de-sacs fill the land between the roads, and the coastal marshes open up to the east.
The town's growth is closely tied to Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, which lies just to the southeast near St Marys and is home port for part of the US Navy's Atlantic submarine fleet. Many residents' lives revolve around the base, and neighbourhoods have expanded steadily to house them.
A Kingsland map poster captures the pattern of a modern coastal Georgia town. Long straight highways contrast with curving subdivision streets, and toward the east the map breaks up into creeks and marsh. It is a practical, lived-in landscape, and its clean lines translate well into a minimalist poster.

Subdivision streets
Curving residential streets and cul-de-sacs fill much of the map, forming looping patterns between the main roads.
Coastal marshland
To the east, land dissolves into tidal creeks and salt marsh, where the lines of the map loosen toward the coast near Kings Bay.

Kingsland is often home for a few years during a naval posting, and a map of it becomes a record of that chapter. It also makes a thoughtful gift for friends when a transfer takes them somewhere new.
