Kokhma Map Poster & Print
Kokhma lies on the Uvod river just southeast of Ivanovo, so close that the two cities almost form one continuous built-up area. On a map, Kokhma shows a small historic core near the river, streets of low wooden houses around it, and larger blocks of mills and apartment buildings from the Soviet period spreading along the main roads.
Like Ivanovo, Kokhma grew as a centre of textile production, and its mills along the Uvod once set the rhythm of daily life. The river winds through the town in broad loops, and its green banks break the built-up area into distinct sections. Forest and open fields surround the town on its outer sides, giving the map a soft frame.
A Kokhma map poster pairs the curving river with the straight lines of industrial and residential streets. The composition feels balanced and grounded, the portrait of a working town shaped by water and mills. It suits anyone who grew up here or whose family history is tied to the textile region of central Russia.
