Krasnyy Sulin Map Poster & Print
Krasnyy Sulin lies in the west of Rostov Oblast, in the steppe country of the eastern Donets coal basin. The town grew around heavy industry, and on the map this is plain: a large works site with rail sidings and long sheds takes up a substantial share of the urban area, while residential streets spread around it in regular blocks.
The metallurgical plant, founded in the late nineteenth century, gave the settlement its reason to exist, and the railway lines serving it still cut through the town. A small steppe river winds through the valley, its curves softening the straight lines of the industrial and residential districts, with open farmland and low hills extending beyond.
A Krasnyy Sulin map poster is an honest portrait of a working town: the geometry of the plant, the blocks of housing, the rail lines and the gentle bends of the river. For people who grew up here or whose families worked at the plant, it is a detailed and personal map of home.

River valley
A small river winds through the town, its meanders cutting across the otherwise straight pattern of streets and adding a single organic line to the composition.
Steppe surroundings
Beyond the last houses, the land opens into broad fields and low rises typical of the Donets steppe, leaving generous empty space around the town on the poster.
