La Victoria Map Poster & Print
La Victoria lies in the Aragua valley in north-central Venezuela, between the Coastal Range to the north and the inland mountains to the south. From above, the town stretches along the valley floor, with a traditional central grid around the main square and newer districts and industrial areas extending along the main roads and highway. Hills rise quickly on both sides, framing the urban area.
The town has a place in Venezuelan history as the site of the Battle of La Victoria in 1814, when José Félix Ribas led a force that included many young students against royalist troops. The battle is commemorated every year on February 12 as Youth Day. The valley also has a long agricultural and industrial history.
A La Victoria map poster shows the town between its hills. The regular grid of the historic centre sits at the heart, main roads and the highway run along the valley, and the slopes remain largely open. In black and white, the linear shape of the valley becomes the main idea of the composition.

Valley corridor
Main roads and the highway follow the valley floor, linking La Victoria with Maracay and Caracas and giving the map a strong east–west direction.
Surrounding slopes
Hills and mountains rise on both sides of the town, creating broad empty areas on the map that frame the built-up valley.
