Looping drives
Residential streets bend and loop instead of crossing at right angles, giving the poster a flowing texture that looks almost hand-drawn.

Laguna Woods Map Poster & Print
Laguna Woods looks nothing like a gridded American city. Its streets curve with the hills, loop back on themselves and end in quiet courts, and much of the land between them is open space, from golf courses to landscaped slopes. From above, it is a soft, flowing pattern, framed by larger arterial roads.
Most of the city is taken up by Laguna Woods Village, a large planned retirement community that opened in the 1960s as Leisure World. The city itself was incorporated in 1999, and its residents are among the oldest of any city in the United States, which shapes everything from street design to local services.
A Laguna Woods map poster turns this unusual layout into an elegant design. The golf courses print as wide open areas, and the looping residential drives wind around them in loose curves. People who live here, and their families across the country, recognize the shapes immediately.

Golf course openings
Fairways and greens leave large blank areas inside the street network, and they read as calm, pale spaces in the composition.
Arterial frame
A few wider roads surround and cross the community, forming a firm outer frame around the softer interior pattern.
