L'Assomption Map Poster & Print
L'Assomption lies northeast of Montreal, in the Lanaudière region of Quebec, on the river of the same name. The river's course is what makes the town so recognisable from above. It loops back on itself in a deep meander, so the historic centre sits on a nearly enclosed peninsula surrounded by water on three sides.
Inside that loop, older streets follow the curve of the banks, and the town's institutions sit close together. The Collège de l'Assomption, founded in the nineteenth century, is one of the best-known. Beyond the meander, newer neighbourhoods spread out in a looser pattern towards farmland and highways.
A L'Assomption map poster shows a town that is literally shaped by its river. The meander forms a bold, almost circular outline, and the street network tucks neatly inside it. It is a naturally strong composition that needs little decoration.

Collège de l'Assomption
The long-established college is a landmark of the old town. Its grounds sit within the network of streets inside the river's bend.
Newer outskirts
Outside the loop, residential areas extend in broader, looser patterns. The contrast shows how the town grew beyond its original setting.

This map is a fine choice for anyone who studied at the college, grew up in the old town or simply loves how the river shapes the place. The meander gives the poster an instantly recognisable outline.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a graduation year or a family name. The poster is available in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir makes the river loop especially striking.
