Laupheim Map Poster & Print
Laupheim is a town in Upper Swabia, in Baden-Württemberg, south of Ulm. It stands on the edge of the Riss valley, and the map shows a clear divide between the flat valley floor and the slightly higher ground where the old town grew. The historic centre is a compact knot of streets, and newer neighbourhoods spread outward in broad, orderly blocks.
The town is best known as the birthplace of Carl Laemmle, who emigrated to America and founded Universal Pictures. A museum in the palace grounds tells his story alongside the history of Laupheim's former Jewish community. On the map, the palace and its park form a distinct green area close to the centre.
A Laupheim map poster captures the look of a well-kept southern German town. It shows a dense historic core, a ring of later housing, industrial areas along the transport routes and fields all around. In black and white, the valley and farmland provide calm space, and the street network becomes a crisp, balanced pattern.
