Le Grand-Quevilly Map Poster & Print
Le Grand-Quevilly lies on the left bank of the Seine, just downstream from central Rouen in Normandy. The river curves in a wide loop here, and the town occupies the flat land inside it. From above, the map shows a clear division: docks and industrial sites along the riverbank, and residential neighbourhoods further inland.
The port of Rouen, one of France's major river ports, extends along this stretch of the Seine, and its basins and quays appear as sharp, geometric shapes. Inland, the town was largely built in the twentieth century, with planned housing estates, broad avenues and green spaces, giving the streets a more open pattern than old Rouen.
A Le Grand-Quevilly map poster captures this mix of water, industry and housing. The river meander frames the composition, while the forested land to the south adds a softer edge. The geometry of docks and residential blocks creates an interesting contrast, clearly readable in black and white.

Port basins
Docks and quays of the port of Rouen line the riverbank, with long rectangular basins that stand out as sharp shapes on the map.
Planned neighbourhoods
Inland streets follow twentieth-century planning, with broader avenues, housing estates and parks forming a more open pattern than the historic centre of Rouen.
