Libiąż Map Poster
Libiąż is a town in western Lesser Poland, in Chrzanów County, between Kraków and Upper Silesia. Its modern growth is tied to coal mining, and the Janina colliery still defines the town. On a map, the mine's grounds, rail sidings and spoil areas form large, irregular shapes next to the residential districts.
The street pattern mixes old village roads, which wander the way rural lanes do, with planned estates of apartment blocks built as the town industrialised. The result is a map of contrasts: curving streets beside rectangular blocks, tight clusters beside open ground left by industry. Patches of forest and fields surround the town.
A Libiąż map poster reflects the character of many working towns in southern Poland, shaped as much by what lies underground as by what stands on the surface. For miners' families and people who grew up here, the layout is instantly familiar, from the estates to the colliery gates.

Housing estates
Apartment blocks in regular rows mark the areas built to house mining families. They contrast with the older, winding streets nearby.
Woods and fields
Beyond the town and its industrial zones, patches of forest and farmland fill the edges of the map with quieter, more open space.

Libiąż is a place where family and work are closely tied, and several generations may have worked at the same mine. A poster of the town is a fitting tribute to that history and to the streets people call home.
Add your own title and subtitle, perhaps a family name or the year someone started at the mine, and edit the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files cost $9, and printed posters are also available.
