Liuyin Map Poster & Print
Liuyin is a town in the municipality of Chongqing, in south-western China, located in the hilly countryside north of the main urban area. The terrain here is uneven, with ridges, valleys and terraced fields, and the town's streets follow the land closely. On a map, roads curve and switch back rather than running in straight lines.
The built-up area forms a relatively compact centre along the main roads, with housing, markets and public buildings clustered where the ground allows. Around it, the landscape is a patchwork of small fields, ponds and wooded slopes, crossed by winding local roads that connect scattered villages.
A Liuyin map poster captures the particular geometry of hill country: sinuous roads, a dense core set on usable ground, and an irregular pattern of fields and water bodies around it. Rendered in black and white, the town's shape feels organic and closely tied to its terrain, typical of Chongqing's rural districts.

Compact centre
The town's streets and buildings cluster along the main routes on the more level ground, forming a clear, dense shape amid the surrounding slopes.
Fields and ponds
Small fields, terraces and ponds surround the town in an irregular mosaic, giving the edges of the poster a rich, detailed texture.
