Spen Valley Greenway

Liversedge Map Poster & Print
Liversedge lies in the Spen Valley in West Yorkshire, part of the Kirklees district between Cleckheaton, Heckmondwike and Dewsbury. From above it is less a single centre than a chain of neighbourhoods strung along the valley, with rows of terraced housing climbing the slopes on either side and main roads following the lower ground.
The town's past is tied to the woollen trade. In 1812 Rawfolds Mill in Liversedge was the target of a Luddite attack, an episode Charlotte Brontë later drew on in her novel Shirley. On the map, former industrial sites, the course of the River Spen and the line of the old railway, now a greenway for walkers and cyclists, still organise the valley floor.
A Liversedge map poster shows how tightly this part of Yorkshire is woven together. Streets run almost continuously into neighbouring towns, yet the valley shape keeps the drawing readable, with the dense grain of terraces on the hillsides set against the long, softer curves of the river and the path beside it.

Terraced hillsides
Rows of stone terraced houses step up the valley sides, producing the fine, parallel street pattern typical of West Yorkshire mill towns and giving the map much of its texture.
River Spen
The small river that gives the valley its name winds along the lower ground, with roads, former mill sites and green spaces gathered along its course.

අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Liversedge is the kind of place people describe by its roads and hills, the walk to school up a steep terrace or the route along the greenway. A map poster brings those familiar lines together in a single frame for a home or a gift.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle with a name or date, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download 300 DPI files for $9 or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
