Llefià Map Poster & Print
Llefià is a neighbourhood of Badalona, just northeast of Barcelona in Catalonia. It lies inland from the coast, on the slopes that rise towards the Serralada de Marina hills, close to the boundary with Santa Coloma de Gramenet. Much of it was built quickly in the 1960s and 1970s to house people who came to the Barcelona area for work, and the density shows clearly from above.
The map is dominated by closely packed apartment blocks set along streets that follow the slope. Some run straight uphill, and others curve along the hillside. Small squares and open spaces fill gaps between buildings. Beyond the upper edge, the built-up area gives way abruptly to the wooded, undeveloped slopes of the Serralada de Marina.
A Llefià map poster presents a neighbourhood rather than a whole city, and that is its strength. It shows the compact, climbing pattern of a working-class district in the Barcelona metropolitan area in full detail. For people who grew up here, the streets and squares on the print are part of daily life, not landmarks.

Hillside streets
Streets climb and bend with the slope towards the hills, so the grid is irregular and changes direction across the neighbourhood.
Serralada edge
At the upper edge, dense streets meet the wooded hills of the Serralada de Marina, forming a sharp boundary between town and open land.

අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Neighbourhood maps suit people whose identity belongs to a specific barrio rather than to a whole city. For anyone who grew up in Llefià, or whose parents settled here, this print is personal in a way a general Barcelona poster could never be.
Title the print Llefià, add Badalona or a family date in the subtitle, and adjust the coordinates. Noir emphasises the dense street pattern, while Sand softens it. Printed posters on matte paper ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
