Manjai Kunda Map Poster & Print
Manjai Kunda lies in the Kanifing area of Greater Banjul, the urban region that stretches along The Gambia's Atlantic coast. From above, it is a dense residential district. Walled family compounds line a network of streets and sandy lanes, and the street pattern is irregular, with some straight roads and many shorter lanes branching off between houses.
The neighbourhood is close to the coastal strip around Kololi and Kotu, where hotels, restaurants and beaches draw many of the country's visitors. Manjai Kunda itself is mostly residential, and like much of Greater Banjul it has grown quickly in recent decades. Open plots have filled with new homes, and the lanes between them have multiplied.
A Manjai Kunda map poster shows the fine grain of a West African coastal neighbourhood. The tight pattern of lanes and compounds creates a rich, detailed texture in black and white, with the main roads standing out as stronger lines. It is a close, intimate portrait of a place usually seen only from street level.

Main roads
A few wider roads cross the neighbourhood and link it to Serekunda and the coast, standing out as bolder lines within the fine street pattern.
Near the coast
The Atlantic shore at Kololi and Kotu lies a short distance away, and the coastline can frame the edge of the poster depending on the chosen area.
