Converging main roads
A handful of principal roads meet near the centre and carry the town's traffic outward, forming the strongest lines on the print and giving the composition a clear focal point.

Méagui Map Poster & Print
Méagui lies in the Bas-Sassandra District of southwest Ivory Coast, in a region where farmland and remaining forest cover much of the landscape. Seen from above, the town is a clearly bounded cluster of streets set within a wide green surround, with a few main roads carrying traffic in and out toward neighbouring towns and, further away, the coast.
The street pattern mixes straight roads laid out in blocks with looser neighbourhoods where paths bend around plots and gardens. Toward the edges the grid softens and gives way to tracks that lead into plantations. The area belongs to the cocoa belt that has made Ivory Coast the world's largest producer of the crop, and that agricultural setting frames the town on the map.
A Méagui map poster captures this relationship between a working town and the country around it. The black-and-white treatment strips away colour and leaves the essential structure: roads converging on a centre, blocks thinning into fields. For people from Méagui, or for families who have moved away to Abidjan or abroad, it is a way to keep the shape of home in view.

Blocks and looser quarters
Regular blocks near the core sit beside neighbourhoods with curving paths and irregular plots, a contrast that shows up clearly once the map is reduced to black and white.
Edge of the fields
At the town limits the street network dissolves into tracks heading toward farms and plantations, leaving generous open space around the settled area and a light border on the print.
