Mörfelden-Walldorf Map Poster & Print
Mörfelden-Walldorf lies in southern Hesse, directly south of Frankfurt Airport. The town was formed in 1977 by joining two separate places, Mörfelden and Walldorf, and on a map they still appear as two distinct centres. Each has its own street network, linked by roads and a railway line, with woodland and fields between them.
Walldorf was founded at the end of the seventeenth century by Waldensian refugees, and its original layout still has a clear, planned feel. Forests surround both towns, part of the large woodland belt south of Frankfurt. To the north, the airport's runways and infrastructure cut across the landscape in long, straight shapes.
A Mörfelden-Walldorf map poster shows that unusual combination: two small towns, dense forest and one of Europe's largest airports next door. The contrast between the fine residential streets and the huge geometric lines of the runways makes for a map with a strong, modern composition.

Airport runways
The runways of Frankfurt Airport lie to the north. Their long, straight lines are the boldest shapes on the poster and completely different in scale.
Forest belt
Woodland surrounds both towns and is crossed by straight forest paths, giving the map large, calm areas between the built-up parts.

Mörfelden-Walldorf suits people who live there, who work at the airport or who flew in and out and made a home nearby. The map shows the whole shape of daily life between forest and runways.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with just one of the two town names. Choose one of five styles. Blueprint suits the airport geometry, while Classic black & white keeps the forest calm.
