The long beach
The shoreline runs nearly straight for kilometres, giving the poster one clean, continuous edge. The open water on one side becomes a calm field of empty space.

Mongaguá Map Poster & Print
Mongaguá stretches along the southern coast of São Paulo state, and from above it is almost entirely horizontal. The town forms a thin band parallel to the sea, pressed between a long, open beach and the forested lowlands and mountains of the Serra do Mar behind it. Short blocks run back from the shore, repeated for kilometres along the coast.
A coastal highway runs through the town parallel to the beach, acting as a spine that ties the neighbourhoods together. Small rivers come down from the hills and cross the strip to reach the ocean, breaking the grid at intervals. Inland, the built-up area fades into green, so the map has a clear three-part structure: sea, town and forest.
The town is part of the Baixada Santista region and is a popular beach resort for families from the São Paulo metropolitan area. Its fishing platform, a long pier reaching out into the sea, is one of the best-known local sights. A Mongaguá map poster turns this linear coastline into a strong composition, with the Atlantic edge running from one side of the frame to the other.

Coastal spine
The highway parallel to the beach organises the whole town. Side streets run off it toward the sand and the hills, producing a regular, ladder-like pattern.
Serra do Mar backdrop
Behind the town, forested lowlands rise toward the coastal mountains. The map shows the streets thinning out into this green edge, which gives the design depth and contrast.
