Montanha Map Poster & Print
Montanha is a municipality in the far north of Espírito Santo, in south-eastern Brazil, close to the borders with Bahia and Minas Gerais. On a map the town is a compact group of streets in the middle of wide, open rural land, with roads running out toward neighbouring municipalities.
The street plan is simple and fairly regular. A central area with a square gives way to residential blocks, and newer extensions follow the roads leading out. Beyond the town, farm tracks, fields and pasture cover most of the landscape, as in much of the agricultural interior of northern Espírito Santo.
A Montanha map poster shows a small Brazilian town at human scale. Every street can be followed, the edge of town is well defined, and the rural roads carry the eye toward the edges of the frame. Classic black and white keeps the plan clean, while Sand gives it a warmer, earthier tone.
