Monte Llano Map Poster & Print
Monte Llano lies in Puerto Plata province on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, a short distance inland from the city of Puerto Plata. The land here is a mix of low hills, small valleys and farmland, with the Atlantic just beyond. On a map, the town is a cluster of streets along a few main roads, closely surrounded by green countryside.
The layout is loose. Main streets run through the town and connect it to the coastal highway and neighbouring communities, and side streets branch off them in short, irregular runs. Farmland and cane fields cover much of the surrounding plain, adding broad textured shapes between settlements. The hills of the Cordillera Septentrional rise further inland.
A Monte Llano map poster shows that setting simply: the town's street cluster, the roads leading out and the open land that connects it to the coast. For people from the north coast, or for families that moved abroad from Puerto Plata province, it is a specific and personal picture of home.

Roads to the coast
Main roads link the town to Puerto Plata and the coastal highway, giving the map strong lines that lead toward the Atlantic.
Rolling farmland
Fields and low hills surround the town. Their soft outlines fill the space around the streets and set the calm rural tone of the print.
