Mount Pleasant Map Poster & Print
Mount Pleasant lies across the Cooper River from Charleston, and on the map water and marsh shape the town as much as its streets do. Tidal creeks wind through wide salt marshes, and neighbourhoods sit on the higher ground between them. The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge crosses the river towards the peninsula city in one long, confident line.
The Old Village, near the harbour, keeps a small grid of older streets, while newer development spreads north along the main roads towards the Isle of Palms connector. Shem Creek, lined with docks and restaurants, is one of the town's best-known places. At Patriots Point, the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown is moored as a museum ship.
A Mount Pleasant map poster captures this lowcountry geography in detail: fine creek lines curling through blank marsh, the compact Old Village, suburban streets on the drier ground, and the bridge reaching across the harbour. The mix of natural curves and built edges makes an especially graceful composition.

Shem Creek
The tidal creek winds from the marsh to the harbour, lined with docks along its lower reach. It is a defining curve of the town's waterfront.
Salt marshes
Wide marshes separate the neighbourhoods, drawn as open areas threaded with narrow creeks. They give the map its distinctive lowcountry look.
