Old town core
The historic centre is a tight knot of narrow, curving lanes and small plots. It holds most of the town's craft workshops and markets and forms the densest part of the poster.

Nagīna Map Poster & Print
Nagīna is a town in Bijnor district in western Uttar Pradesh, on the fertile plain between the Ganges and the foothills of Uttarakhand. On a map it shows a compact old centre of narrow, winding lanes, with newer neighbourhoods spreading along the roads out of town. All around lie sugarcane and wheat fields, crossed by country roads and irrigation channels.
The town is best known for wood carving, a craft passed down through generations of artisans who make boxes, furniture and decorative pieces with detailed carved patterns. Nagina's woodcraft has a Geographical Indication in India, and much of the work still happens in small family workshops spread through the older parts of town, close to the markets.
A Nagīna map poster draws the town as its artisans might recognise it: a dense core of lanes and workshops, a ring of newer housing, and roads running out across the open plain. The fine grain of the old centre suits a black-and-white print, and the empty farmland around it gives the whole composition space to breathe.

For families whose name is tied to Nagina's workshops, and for anyone who owns a piece of its carved woodwork, a map of the town is a fitting companion. It also makes a meaningful gift for relatives who grew up here and now live in Delhi, the Gulf or further away.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family or workshop name, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files are $9, and printed posters on matte paper come with an optional wooden frame.
