Neyveli Map Poster & Print
Neyveli is one of India's clearest examples of a company town. It was developed from the 1950s around the lignite deposits worked by Neyveli Lignite Corporation, now NLC India, and its map still reflects that origin. Residential areas are divided into numbered blocks, each with its own internal roads, schools and green spaces, arranged in a deliberate, spacious pattern.
Beyond the township lie the mines themselves: huge open-cast pits whose stepped edges and haul roads form large geometric shapes on the map. Thermal power stations fed by the lignite stand nearby, connected by roads, conveyors and rail sidings. The contrast between orderly housing and industrial landscape is unusually sharp.
A Neyveli map poster captures a place built with a single purpose and planned from scratch. The regular blocks, generous tree-lined roads and bold outlines of the mines make a striking composition, especially in the Blueprint style, which echoes the engineering behind the town.

Open-cast mines
Large lignite mines sit beside the township, their terraced pits and haul roads forming bold geometric shapes that dominate part of the map.
Green township
Wide roads and plentiful tree cover set Neyveli apart from denser nearby towns, visible as open space between the residential blocks.

For families who lived in Neyveli through a career at the mines or power stations, the block where they grew up is a precise memory. A map lets you point to it exactly.
Change the title and subtitle to add a block number, a family name or a year, and adjust the coordinates line. Five styles are available, and the Blueprint option suits the town's engineered layout particularly well.
