Windecken old core
Windecken's historic centre sits on raised ground above the Nidder. Its compact, curved lanes are among the densest patches of line on the whole map.

Nidderau Map Poster & Print
Nidderau did not grow as one town. It was formed in 1970, when Windecken, Heldenbergen and several smaller neighbouring villages were merged into one municipality. From above you can still see this. Each old core keeps its own tight cluster of lanes, and open farmland and newer housing lie between them rather than one continuous centre.
The small river Nidder winds through the municipality from northeast to southwest. Its shallow valley holds the settlements together, and a railway line follows the low ground. On the Wetterau side, rectangular fields and field paths make a fine, regular pattern. Near the river the lines turn softer and bend with the water.
A Nidderau map poster shows a place where the edges matter as much as the centres. On paper, the gaps between the villages become a kind of composition, with dense knots of streets joined by thin roads across open land. It is a quiet part of Hesse northeast of Frankfurt, and the map shows its layout honestly.

The Nidder valley
The river crosses the municipality in slow bends. It gives the poster one soft, organic line that runs through otherwise orderly farmland and residential streets.
Wetterau field pattern
Around the villages, straight field paths divide the land into long rectangles. This produces a light, even texture that frames the built-up areas.

අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
People who grew up in one of Nidderau's villages often think of the whole municipality as home. A map that shows all the parts together fits that feeling well, especially for someone who has moved to Frankfurt or further away.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a village name or a moving date. Choose one of five styles, including Classic black & white, Paper and Sand, to suit the room.
