Norwood Map Poster & Print
Norwood lies in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, about fifteen miles southwest of Boston. On a map it shows two distinct characters: a traditional town centre along Washington Street with a dense grid of residential blocks, and the broad commercial strip of Route 1 running along the eastern side, lined with car dealerships and large lots.
The town separated from Dedham and was incorporated in 1872. Its most recognisable building is the Memorial Municipal Building, whose tall tower holds a carillon. The commuter rail line to Boston crosses the town with more than one station, and Norwood Memorial Airport occupies a large open area in the east, near the wetlands of the Neponset River.
A Norwood map poster brings these layers together: curving suburban streets, the straight rail corridor, the runways as clean geometric shapes, and patches of wetland and conservation land. It reads as a classic New England town that grew into a commuter suburb while keeping a recognisable centre.

Airport runways
Norwood Memorial Airport appears as crisp crossing lines on the map, a strong geometric element in contrast with the curving residential streets around it.
Route 1 corridor
The long, straight commercial route along the eastern edge divides the map, with large lots and wide spacing compared with the finer residential grain to the west.
