Oued Lill Map Poster & Print
Oued Lill, also written Oued Ellil, lies in Manouba governorate on the western side of greater Tunis. It sits on flat, fertile land that has long been farmed, and over recent decades housing has spread across much of it. From above, the town is a mix of dense neighbourhoods, remaining orchards and fields, and roads leading east into the capital and west into the countryside.
The street pattern tells the story of this growth. Older lanes near the centre are short and irregular, while newer districts follow straighter plots laid out over former agricultural parcels. The result is a patchwork, with blocks of different sizes and orientations meeting along the main roads, an arrangement typical of the expanding edges of North African capitals.
An Oued Lill map poster captures that texture in clean black and white. The interplay of dense housing and open plots creates a varied composition, and the roads toward Tunis give it a clear sense of direction. It is a map of an ordinary, lived-in place, which is exactly what makes it personal to those who know it.

Roads to Tunis
Main routes run east toward the centre of Tunis, forming the strongest lines on the map and linking the town with the wider metropolitan area.
Farmland remnants
Fields and orchards still occupy parts of the area between built-up districts, appearing on the map as open spaces within the growing street network.
