Pecan Grove Map Poster & Print
Pecan Grove is a residential community in Fort Bend County, Texas, just northeast of Richmond and within the wider Houston metropolitan area. It was developed as a planned suburb, and its map shows exactly that: loops, curves and cul-de-sacs rather than a grid, with houses arranged along winding streets and green space woven through the layout.
The Brazos River runs along the western side of the community, its meandering course and wooded banks forming a natural edge. A golf course threads through the neighbourhood, so fairways appear as long open ribbons between blocks of homes. Larger roads mark the other boundaries, connecting Pecan Grove to Richmond, Rosenberg and the rest of the Houston area.
A Pecan Grove map poster turns suburban planning into a surprisingly graphic image. The rhythm of curved streets and dead ends, interrupted by the river and the golf course, creates a pattern quite unlike the grids of older American towns. For residents, it is a way to see the familiar daily routes of the neighbourhood from above.

Brazos River
The river forms a natural western edge, its meanders and wooded floodplain leaving an open band on the poster alongside the residential streets.
Golf fairways
A golf course runs through the community, its fairways appearing as long pale shapes that separate groups of streets and give the map room to breathe.
