Potim Map Poster & Print
Potim lies in the Paraíba Valley of São Paulo state, the long corridor between the Serra do Mar and the Serra da Mantiqueira that links São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. On a map it sits close to Aparecida and Guaratinguetá, with the Paraíba do Sul river and the Via Dutra highway defining the broader setting. The town's streets form a modest grid within a patchwork of fields and floodplain.
Potim was once part of Guaratinguetá and became a municipality in its own right in the early 1990s. Its location next to Aparecida, home to the national shrine visited by millions of pilgrims, means that the surrounding map is busier than the town's size suggests, with roads, rail lines and neighbouring urban areas pressing in from several sides.
A Potim map poster captures this position between larger places. The river's meanders give the composition a soft, organic line, the highway cuts a firm straight edge, and the town's own streets sit neatly in between. In black and white, these layers stay distinct, making the valley's structure easy to read even at smaller print sizes.

Neighbouring towns
Aparecida and Guaratinguetá lie close by, so their street patterns can appear at the edges of wider crops, showing how the valley towns nearly meet.

Potim is a place people know from daily life rather than guidebooks, and a map of it is a personal choice: a childhood street, a first house, a family that has lived in the valley for generations. The river and highway give the image clear structure.
