Pujali Map Poster & Print
Pujali lies on the east bank of the Hooghly in South 24 Parganas, downstream from Kolkata. From above, the river is the dominant shape: a wide band of water along one side of the map, with the town's lanes, compounds and small tanks packed in behind it. The street pattern is irregular, with narrow paths that branch and join and none of the planned blocks of newer suburbs.
The area around Pujali has long been a mix of riverside industry and residential settlement, part of the working belt that spreads south along the Hooghly from the city. Railway and road links tie it to neighbouring Budge Budge and to Kolkata. On paper that shows up as long lines crossing a fine web of village-scale lanes, with water bodies scattered through the blocks.
A Pujali map poster turns this intricate ground into a clear black-and-white pattern. The Hooghly forms a strong edge, and the small ponds read as light spots among dense streets. It is an honest portrait of a place people know closely and rarely see drawn out, and it looks good on its own or hung beside a print of Kolkata.

Ponds and tanks
Small water bodies are scattered between the houses, typical of the Bengal delta, and they break up the dense lanes with calm open shapes.
Organic lanes
Streets here grew path by path, not by plan, so the map shows a fine, branching network that rewards a closer look.

The print gives a place that usually goes unmapped a proper portrait, and it means a lot to people who grew up by this stretch of the Hooghly. It also works well as a pair with a Kolkata map for anyone whose life has moved between the two.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a name, a date or a note of your own. Pick one of five styles, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the $9 HD files or order a matte print, with an optional wooden frame.
