Plateau centre
The core of the town spreads across comparatively level ground, the one area where streets can knot together densely before the terrain starts to steepen on every side.

Rawalakot Map Poster & Print
Rawalakot sits on a broad upland plateau in the Poonch area of Azad Kashmir, and the map shows a town shaped by its terrain. The centre is a small, fairly dense cluster of streets and bazaars, while the roads leaving it bend and switch back as they climb into the surrounding hills and forested ridges.
The town is the administrative centre of Poonch Division and serves a wide rural area of villages spread along the slopes. On paper this gives a clear hub-and-spoke pattern: one busy core, then thin lines of road following the contours outward, with small settlements strung along them like beads.
A Rawalakot map poster captures a place where geography does most of the drawing. There is no rigid grid and no long straight avenue, only lanes that adjust to every rise and fold of the land. In black and white those curving lines have a softness that suits a mountain town well.

Contour roads
Outside the centre, roads curve and loop to follow the hillsides. These winding lines give the poster its character and show plainly how the slopes shape movement here.
Scattered villages
Small clusters of lanes dot the surrounding ridges and link back to the town, showing how Rawalakot works as the hub for a wide spread of hill communities.
