Salem Map Poster & Print
Seen from above, Salem is shaped by water on almost every side. The North River curves along its upper edge, the South River cuts in toward the centre, and the harbour opens eastward past Salem Neck and Winter Island. The street pattern follows that coastline rather than a grid, with older lanes running down toward the waterfront and quieter residential blocks filling the land between the inlets.
The town's maritime past is still legible on the map. Derby Wharf reaches a long, thin line out into the harbour, part of Salem Maritime National Historic Site, which preserves the wharves and buildings of the port that once traded with Asia and the Caribbean. Nearby, the House of the Seven Gables sits close to the shore, and the rectangle of Salem Common marks the open heart of the old town.
A Salem map poster turns this intricate edge of land and sea into a clean black-and-white drawing. Most people know Salem for the witch trials of 1692, but the map tells a different story: a working seaport of coves, piers and shipping lanes, with the Peabody Essex Museum in its centre and Salem Willows park looking out across the water at the tip of the neck.

Salem Neck
The peninsula to the northeast holds Winter Island and Salem Willows, a finger of land with irregular shoreline that gives the poster its most distinctive outline.
Salem Common
A large open rectangle among the historic streets, one of the clearest shapes in the old town and a natural point of orientation on the printed map.

ඇයි Salem
අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Salem attracts people for many reasons: graduates of Salem State, families who have lived near the Common for generations, visitors who came in October and returned. A map of its harbour and streets is a quiet way to keep that connection on the wall, without leaning on souvenirs.
You can add your own title, a subtitle and a coordinates line, perhaps a street address or a wedding date, and choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Digital HD files cost $9, and printed posters on matte paper ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
