Bay shoreline
The western edge breaks up into a marina, a golf course and shoreline parks, giving the poster an irregular coastline of piers, lagoons and paths against the open water.

San Leandro Map Poster & Print
San Leandro sits on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay, between Oakland to the north and Hayward to the south. From above, the city reads as a broad, mostly level sheet of residential blocks that tilts gently from the bay toward the East Bay hills, with San Leandro Creek marking part of its northern edge.
The shoreline is the most distinctive part of the drawing. A marina basin, a golf course and open shoreline parkland push out into the water, their shapes softened by tidal flats. Inland, the grid is cut lengthwise by Interstate 880 and the rail corridor, while Interstate 580 skims the higher ground to the east, so the city is drawn as a series of parallel bands.
The name comes from the Spanish-era Rancho San Leandro, and the city later became a centre of Portuguese immigration, a heritage still visible in its local festivals. A San Leandro map poster shows how that story settled into a quiet suburban pattern: straight avenues, small commercial strips, two BART stations and the long, flat edge of the bay.

Freeway bands
Interstate 880 and Interstate 580 run roughly parallel through the city, dividing the street grid into long north–south strips that read clearly in black and white.
San Leandro Creek
The creek winds down from the hills toward the bay along the northern side of the city, adding one soft, curving line to an otherwise regular grid.

අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
For people who grew up here or commute through the East Bay every day, the map is a plain record of the familiar: the street they lived on, the stretch of shoreline they walked, the freeway exit they took for years.
Add a title, a subtitle such as a moving-in date, and the coordinates line, then choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It is available as a $9 HD download or as a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
