Sāngola Map Poster & Print
Sāngola is a town in Solapur district in southern Maharashtra, in the drier, rain-shadow part of the Deccan plateau. It is the headquarters of its taluka, and the map shows a typical regional centre. There is a dense core of market streets, roads branching toward surrounding villages and towns, and a wide ring of cultivated land.
The area is known for its pomegranates, grown in orchards across the countryside, and farming shapes the landscape well beyond the edge of town. On the map, the regular divisions of fields and farm tracks form a quiet, patterned background. The town itself has the irregular texture of streets that grew over a long period.
A Sāngola map poster brings out the relationship between town and land: a close weave of lanes at the centre gradually thins into roads and field lines. It is a fitting piece for people from the taluka, especially those now living in Pune, Mumbai or further away who want a clear picture of where they come from.

Roads to villages
Several roads run out from the centre toward neighbouring villages and district towns, giving the map a star-like structure against the open land.
Orchard country
Pomegranate orchards and other farmland surround the town. On the map they appear as a fine pattern of plots and tracks across the level plateau.
