Urban villages
Older village cores survive as dense clusters of tiny lanes. On the map they are the darkest and most intricate patches.

Sanjianzai Map Poster & Print
Sanjianzai is an urban community in Guangdong, on the eastern side of the Pearl River Delta, one of the most densely built regions in the world. Here the map shows almost no open ground. Industrial blocks, residential compounds and the tight lanes of former villages fill nearly every part of the frame, from one edge to the other.
The layout reflects decades of rapid growth. Broad main roads and expressways cut straight lines through the area, and between them the older village cores appear as compact knots of very narrow streets. Large rectangles mark factories and warehouses, and newer housing adds regular, repeated blocks.
A Sanjianzai map poster turns that intensity into a striking graphic pattern. Without colour, the fine grain of the villages, the large industrial parcels and the heavy lines of the main roads become the whole subject. It is a precise record of a landscape shaped by industry.

Industrial blocks
Large, regular parcels of factories and warehouses create broad geometric shapes. They contrast sharply with the fine grain of the residential areas.
Arterial roads
Wide roads and expressways cross the area in long straight lines. They divide the dense fabric into clear, readable sections.

Many people have lived and worked in this part of the delta for years, and the place often holds more personal history than its size suggests. A map of the exact streets where life happened can be a surprisingly moving object.
Add a title, a subtitle and a date, such as the year you arrived, and edit the coordinates line. The five styles include Blueprint for a technical look and Noir for a darker one. Choose instant downloads or a printed poster.
