Shikang Map Poster & Print
Shikang lies in the far south of Guangxi, on the low coastal plain near the Beibu Gulf, not far from the city of Beihai. Its map shows a compact built-up centre along the main roads, surrounded by flat countryside divided into fields, fish ponds and small watercourses. The pattern is gentle and irregular, typical of subtropical farming land close to the sea.
From above, the countryside is an interlocking mosaic of rectangular plots and open water, with village clusters set among them and narrow roads linking them to the town. That mix of solid and open shapes translates well into monochrome, where ponds and paddies appear as quiet blocks and the lanes thread between them in fine lines.
The surrounding county of Hepu has a long history as a port and trading area on China's southern coast. A Shikang map poster stays close to the ground: a small town and its farmland, presented without exaggeration, as a personal record for those who know it or an understated piece of cartography for everyone else.

Ponds and fields
Fish ponds and paddy fields surround the town in an interlocking mosaic of rectangles, their flat shapes giving the poster a calm, even texture.
Village lanes
Narrow lanes run out from the centre to village clusters across the plain, a loose network of fine lines connecting settlement to settlement.
