Shouxian Map Poster & Print
Shouxian lies in the far northwest of Jiangsu Province, in the Xuzhou area close to the provincial border with Shandong. The landscape here is part of the North China Plain: low, flat and heavily farmed, so the map is shaped far more by straight roads and canals than by hills or coastline.
Seen from above, the settlement forms a compact block of streets surrounded by a regular pattern of fields, straight rural lanes and irrigation or drainage channels. This geometric setting is typical of northern Jiangsu, where land has been carefully divided and managed for centuries, and it gives the poster a calm, even texture.
Because the ground is so level, a Shouxian map poster reads almost like a technical drawing, with the denser centre standing out against the fine lines of the countryside. It is a fitting keepsake for people from this corner of Jiangsu who want a precise record of home rather than a picture postcard.

Field geometry
Straight farm tracks and channels divide the surrounding land into long rectangles, creating a regular pattern that frames the town on every side.
Compact centre
The built-up area forms a tight cluster of streets, clearly separated from the open fields and easy to recognise at the heart of the poster.

ඇයි Shouxian
අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Small towns in northern Jiangsu rarely get their own poster, which is exactly why one of Shouxian means something. It is a way to keep a birthplace or a grandparents' home close, even after moving to Xuzhou, Nanjing or further away.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be changed, so you can add a family name or an important date. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as a $9 HD download or a printed poster.
