Shwenatha Map Poster & Print
Shwenatha lies on the northern outskirts of Yangon, in the low, flat land around Myanmar's largest city. Like many satellite towns around Yangon, it has grown quickly. From above, its streets form long, parallel lines divided into wards, with houses on narrow plots between them and a few wider roads carrying traffic in and out.
Around the built-up area, the map turns to farmland, creeks and ponds, some of it wet for much of the monsoon. Roads to central Yangon cut straight across this open ground. A Shwenatha map poster captures the city's expanding grid where it meets the waterlogged countryside that still surrounds it.
The overall pattern is simple and repetitive, which suits a minimal map well: long rows of streets, a few main roads, and water in irregular shapes around the edges. For people who moved here from other parts of Yangon or elsewhere in Myanmar, it is a map of a new neighbourhood and a new start.

Link roads
Main roads lead south toward central Yangon, cutting straight across low ground and tying the town firmly to the wider city.
Creeks and ponds
Small waterways, ponds and wet fields sit around the edges of the settlement, adding soft, irregular shapes to an otherwise orderly plan.
