Souk El Arbaa Map Poster & Print
Souk El Arbaa lies in the Gharb, the broad, low agricultural plain of northwestern Morocco inland from the Atlantic coast. The land is almost flat, so the street pattern is shaped by roads and property lines rather than hills or rivers. From above, the town forms a compact grid with a denser centre, set among the long rectangles of cultivated fields.
The name means Wednesday market, a reference to the weekly souk the town grew around. Many settlements across rural Morocco carry the name of their market day. In the Gharb that trading role has long linked farms on the plain with larger cities along the road network, from Kenitra and Rabat in the south to Tangier in the north.
A Souk El Arbaa map poster is a portrait of an everyday Moroccan town: practical streets, a central market district and field boundaries stretching away in every direction. For people from the Gharb it is a plain, honest way to keep home on the wall, without decoration getting in the way.

Main road through town
A major road crosses the town and ties it to the wider region. On the map it reads as a firm line that the smaller streets branch off.
Field geometry
Beyond the last houses the plain is divided into long, regular plots. At the edges of the poster they form a quiet pattern of parallel lines.
