Suresnes Map Poster & Print
Suresnes lies just west of Paris in the Hauts-de-Seine department, on the left bank of the Seine opposite the Bois de Boulogne. The town rises steeply from the river, and its map reflects that slope: streets along the waterfront run parallel to the Seine, while those further up twist and zigzag to climb the hillside.
At the top stands Mont Valérien, one of the highest points around Paris. Its nineteenth-century fort appears on the map as a distinctive star-shaped outline. The hill holds the Mémorial de la France combattante, dedicated to the Second World War resistance, and on its slope lies the Suresnes American Cemetery, where soldiers of both world wars are buried.
A Suresnes map poster captures the unusual balance between river, slope and summit. The Pont de Suresnes links the town to the Bois de Boulogne, and the Seine curves broadly along the eastern edge. Suresnes also keeps a small municipal vineyard on the hillside, a reminder of the vines that once covered these slopes.

Hillside streets
