Pothohar ravines
Seasonal streams have cut branching gullies into the plateau around the town. On the map they look like fine, tree-like patterns across the land.

Talagang Map Poster & Print
Talagang lies on the Pothohar Plateau in northern Punjab, to the west of Chakwal. The land is dry, open and cut through by seasonal streams and eroded ravines. From above, the town appears as a compact knot of streets and bazaars, with main roads running outward across a patterned landscape of fields and gullies.
The plateau is rain-fed farming country, and the texture of the map beyond the town comes from its fields and the branching lines of dry watercourses. The Talagang area is known in Pakistan for its long tradition of military service, with many families sending sons into the army over generations.
A Talagang map poster shows the town and its surroundings as a single composition. The dense centre, the roads leading towards Chakwal and Mianwali, and the complex drainage lines of the plateau make an interesting, intricate pattern in black and white. For families with roots here, it is a clear and personal picture of home.

Town centre
The bazaars and older streets form a dense core, and the main roads leave it towards neighbouring districts. This gives the town a clear hub-and-spoke shape.
Rain-fed farmland
Open fields spread in every direction and are divided by paths and field boundaries. Around the town they form a quiet, textured background.
